These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the services provided by Talk2Us – My Mental Mess, including therapy (individual, group, online), trauma and mental health clean-ups, and biohazard cleaning. By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms in full.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our website or services.

1. Our Services

We provide a combination of mental health and practical support services, including but not limited to:

  • One-to-one therapy (in-person and online)

  • Group therapy and support sessions

  • Trauma and mental health environment cleaning

  • Biohazard and hazardous material cleaning

All services are delivered by qualified professionals or trained specialists. Service availability may vary depending on your location and the nature of your request.

2. Bookings and Cancellations

  • Therapy and cleaning services must be booked in advance via our website, email, or phone.

  • Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance for therapy sessions and 48 hours in advance for cleaning services.

  • Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a full fee unless due to an emergency or by prior arrangement.

  • We reserve the right to reschedule appointments due to staff illness, emergencies, or unforeseen events.

3. Confidentiality and Privacy

We take confidentiality seriously. All therapy sessions and personal information are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, GDPR, and UK data protection laws.

Exceptions to confidentiality include:

  • Risk of harm to self or others

  • Safeguarding concerns involving minors or vulnerable adults

  • Court orders or legal obligations

4. Therapy and Mental Health Support

  • Therapy services are delivered by trained and accredited mental health professionals.

  • Therapy is not a substitute for crisis services. If you are in immediate danger or require urgent help, contact emergency services or your GP.

  • We do not guarantee specific outcomes from therapy or support sessions. Progress varies by individual.

5. Trauma and Biohazard Cleaning Services

  • Cleaning services may involve the handling of hazardous materials. These are performed by trained technicians in compliance with all health and safety regulations.

  • You must disclose any known biohazards (e.g., bodily fluids, needles, infestations) prior to service.

  • We reserve the right to decline or halt work if there is a safety risk to our team.

  • Therapist support is available during clean-ups by prior arrangement and may incur additional charges.

6. Fees and Payment

  • All fees are clearly communicated prior to service confirmation.

  • Payment is due upon receipt of invoice or prior to service, unless agreed otherwise.

  • We accept payment via bank transfer, credit/debit card, or approved third-party systems.

  • Late payments may incur additional charges or suspension of services.

7. Use of Website

By accessing our website, you agree not to:

  • Use the site for unlawful purposes or in a way that may damage our business or reputation

  • Copy, reproduce, or distribute our content without permission

  • Attempt to access secure areas without authorisation

We reserve the right to update or remove website content at any time without notice.

8. Liability

  • We are not liable for any damages, losses, or injuries resulting from your use of our services, except where required by law.

  • Our therapists and staff operate to high standards, but we do not guarantee specific results.

  • For trauma cleaning services, we are not responsible for underlying property damage not visible at the time of service.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The most current version will always be available on our website. Continued use of our services after changes have been posted will indicate your acceptance of those changes.
